Hopkins grew up near Boston, reading everything she could get her hands on. From a young age, storytelling entranced her, whether it be art, music, or writing. At the age of eighteen, she joined a band as a singer, songwriter, and bassist. When the band went their separate ways, she realized writing was what she loved to do above anything else. Though, she still composes and records music here and there and creates artwork when she has the chance.
